On this page, you will find a couple of the print jobs I did for DuraChoice. I built several for the manufacturer and its retail website, DirectMaterial.com. The brochure and catalog on this page are more sales-oriented than some of the company's other marketing efforts, but they were successful. I don't believe the catalog has been significantly altered since I left for other employment.
I built this two-sided folding insert for DirectMaterial.com in my first weeks at DuraChoice. It was the first of many brochures and fliers I created in my time there. I don't love all of the design choices on the front of the insert, but you can't argue with the results.
We purchased 10,000 copies for pennies apiece and inserted them in every outgoing order for the following year. The insert and its associated coupon code resulted in thousands in sales.
The DuraChoice catalog was a project that I inherited when I started. I updated all of the product listings and took new photos of virtually everything the company manufactures. The result was a cleaner look that I believe was more useful to our customers.
The catalog was, and I assume still is, a work in progress, usually updated when we got new products in. The design took elements of the existing catalog and combined them with features requested by coworkers and the company's owner.
The version of the catalog below is a hybrid of sorts. It has many of the same layout features as the official catalog, but has design tweaks that I prefer over the choices made by the company.
